Dramatic sunset landscape viewed through natural stone arch in Utah's desert wilderness.

Hi, I’m Michael, a Nature, Wildlife, and Astro Photographer

Let’s get to know each other

My journey into Photography spawned from COVID. Working in the hospitals, I saw so much bad. I started venturing out in the wild to see the beauty in the world. I wanted to bring that to the masses.

Natural stone arch formation in red rock desert landscape under bright blue sky.
Herd of American bison with young calf crossing a paved road in a national park.

The heartbeat of the wild—elk grazing in twilight, birds in mid-flight, or a fleeting glimpse of a predator on the prowl. These are the souls of the earth, captured in their element.

Wildlife

Sweeping landscapes, delicate flora, and the quiet power of untouched places. From rugged mountains to tranquil rivers, I chase the scenes that take your breath away.

What I Capture

Three Worlds, One Vision

My photography spans three realms, each a testament to the splendor of our planet and beyond:

Red rock canyon walls reflect perfectly in still blue waters creating a mirror image landscape.
Two horses stand in shallow river water against a dark forested background.

The heartbeat of the wild—elk grazing in twilight, birds in mid-flight, or a fleeting glimpse of a predator on the prowl. These are the souls of the earth, captured in their element.

EDITORIAL & FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY

Beauty as a Bridge.

In a world that can feel divided and chaotic, I believe photography has power. It’s a bridge—connecting us to nature’s resilience, to the creatures we share this planet with, and to the vastness above us. My work isn’t just about pretty pictures; it’s about rediscovery. It’s about hope.

When you hang one of my prints on your wall, you’re not just decorating a space—you’re claiming a piece of that wonder. When you explore my galleries, you’re stepping into a perspective born from hardship and healed by the wild. This is more than art; it’s a call to see the world differently.

From the Frontlines to the Wilderness

Photography wasn’t always my path. Before the shutter clicks and star trails, there were hospital corridors and long, exhausting shifts. When COVID struck, I was there—witnessing humanity at its most fragile. The weight of it all pushed me to seek something more, something healing. I grabbed a camera, stepped into the wild, and everything changed.

What started as a way to cope became a passion that redefined me. I’d hike through forests at dawn to capture the mist curling around ancient trees. I’d wait patiently in the brush for the perfect shot of a fox mid-leap. I’d lie beneath the stars, camera poised, chasing the Milky Way’s arc across the heavens. Each click of the shutter was a reminder: beauty endures, even when the world feels broken.

Michael’s astrophotography is out of this world—literally! I ordered a Milky Way print for my office, and every client who walks in stops to stare. It’s a reminder of how vast and beautiful the universe is

Actually, it’s nature itself that creates the most beautiful pictures, I’m only choosing the perspective.
